Question on broken iPhone 4?

I left the phone out in the rain so now it works, it rings and makes sounds, and I called it and slid my finger across the bottom to unlock it and it answered and I could talk only thing is the screen display doesn't work it is completely black. Please help all you technical geniuses out there is there anyway that I can take off the cover and just connect a wire or whatever is broken and make it work? Because it is too expensive to have someone fix it and the insurance plan doesn't cover water damage. Please help me if you can and no rubbish answers please. Anything is appreciated!!
