Buy all parts to build airsoft?

i was wondering if it was possible to buy all the parts to build an airsoft gun? here in Australia because of some bogus law i'm allowed to own an air rifle but not an airsoft gun. I know they are illegal I just want to know if its possible to buy ALL the parts needed to build an airsoft from scratch and if it would be more effort than it is worth
